Bob Herczeg Promoted to Program Manager, Ironmonger House

Virtual Routes is pleased to announce the promotion of Bob Herczeg to Program Manager, Ironmonger House.

Since joining Virtual Routes as Executive Support and Research Officer, Bob has supported the organization’s research, operations, and program delivery. In his new role, he will manage Virtual Routes’ event space, recording facilities, and spaces at Ironmonger House, coordinating with key stakeholders and delivering events across our work on the impact of digital and emerging technologies on global affairs.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in War Studies from King’s College London and is an Associate of King’s College. His research interests include cyber conflict, cybersecurity for maritime critical infrastructure, and grey zone operations in the Baltic and South China Seas. He has also worked as a producer and researcher for acclaimed short-form documentaries.

Commenting on the promotion, Co-Director James Shires said:

“We are very pleased to announce Bob’s new role as Program Manager, Ironmonger House. Our recently acquired space enabled our team to collaborate more frequently in person and provide a dedicated setting to host a wide range of in-person and hybrid events, roundtables, workshops, training sessions, lectures, and receptions. As Program Manager for Ironmonger House, Bob will use his extensive experience and wide-ranging skillset in event delivery, subject matter expertise, and more to take Virtual Routes’ activities in London to the next level.”

Congratulations to Bob on his well-deserved promotion. We look forward to seeing him in this new role.
