Romania’s Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) made five arrests last week after receiving intel from Europol, the FBI, and Dutch National Police.
The five arrested suspects are not ransomware authors, but mere distributors.
(Most likely) Two of the arrested are charged for hacking Metropolitan Police security cameras and attempting to deploy dharma & cerber RW.
