Interpol-led worldwide action called Operation Synergia took down over 1,300 command and control servers used in ransomware, phishing, and malware campaigns and led to 31 detained individuals suspected of cybercrime. The operation involved 50 member countries and private partners included Group-IB, Kaspersky, TrendMicro, Shadowserver, and Team Cyrmu.
