Yesterday the Spanish National Police Commissioner Ignacio Cosidó Gutiérrez and the Head of Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) Troels Oerting opened a 10 day intensive cybercrime course held at the Spanish Police Academy in Avila. Over the next two weeks, 37 cybercrime experts from law enforcement agencies in 22 different countries will receive high level training and education in the prevention, detection and disruption of advanced cybercrime targeting individuals, companies, governments and academia.
