A 19-year-old Massachusetts college student, Matthew Lane, is charged and will plead guilty for hacking and extorting educational-software provider PowerSchool (used by 18,000+ schools), stealing credential-access via a contractor in September and at least one ransom demand (~$2.85 m in Bitcoin) threatening data of millions of students/teachers.
