Erik Kursetgjerde is a 2024-2025 Virtual Routes European Cybersecurity Fellow. He is also the Norwegian representative and a researcher at the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE). Previously, he has worked with Digital Infrastructure and Internet Governance at the Norwegian Ministry of Digitalization and Public Governance, at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) Research Centre on New Technology, and in the IT sector.
Erik has a strong interest in interdisciplinary research and debate and in contributing to a more holistic approach to cyber security by narrowing the gaps between different disciplinary approaches. He holds an MA in Political Science from the University of Oslo, and in his thesis, he carried out field research on the OWEG and GGE processes in the UN.
