Virtual Routes is launching Ironmonger House Talks: Conversations on Emerging Technology and Security, a new event series at our London office bringing together leading thinkers to examine how emerging technologies are reshaping security, politics and global affairs.
The first conversation: Moscow’s Long Game Against the West
The series opens on Monday, 19 October 2026 with a book conversation on Russian hybrid warfare and its place in Moscow’s broader confrontation with the West. Drawing on their recently published books, We Shall Outlast Them and American Overthrow, Hanna Notte and Keir Giles will examine Russia’s efforts to build influence around the world, undermine its opponents and outlast Western resolve. The discussion will be moderated by Charles Clover, Security & Defence Correspondent at the Financial Times, and followed by a reception.

This conversation is funded by REMIT (Horizon Europe) and marks the beginning of a wider program of events at Ironmonger House. We look forward to welcoming our community in London for thoughtful exchanges on the technologies and security challenges shaping our world.
