About the program
The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (TUCN) is launching an interdisciplinary, Google.org-funded “Cybersecurity Seminars” series aimed at enhancing the technical proficiency of students, while also promoting cybersecurity awareness in the local community. This initiative is led by the Departments of Automation, Computer Science and Communication, offering courses in areas such as cryptography, network security, ethical hacking, and cyber risk management. Our hands-on approach involves direct engagement with local community organizations (LCOs) such as SMEs, public institutions, and non-profits, equipping them with practical cybersecurity strategies. These seminars are designed to create lasting educational impacts by bridging academic expertise with real-world cybersecurity challenges
