We will select up to 50 organizations based in Ireland, Germany, Poland, Italy or Spain to receive security keys and training to implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) across their organization.
Security keys provide one of the most effective ways to protect accounts against phishing and unauthorized access. Unlike SMS codes or authentication apps, hardware-based authentication offers strong, phishing-resistant protection and significantly reduces the risk of account compromise.
Through this open call, selected organizations will receive YubiKey security devices alongside practical guidance on how to deploy them. The service also includes password management training to support secure authentication practices across teams.
The service is provided in partnership with Yubico through its Secure it Forward program. This initiative supports organizations working in areas such as human rights, civil society, journalism, and public interest by making strong authentication more accessible.
YubiKeys are trusted by millions of users worldwide and provide a simple, reliable way to secure access to accounts and sensitive systems. They are designed to prevent phishing, stop account takeovers, and work across a wide range of devices and services.
Selected organizations will receive the necessary hardware and guidance to implement MFA effectively within their existing workflows.
