A VPN is a tool that encrypts your internet connection, helping to protect sensitive data, secure communications, and reduce exposure to common cyber threats—especially when working remotely or using shared networks.
Through this open call, up to 40 members per selected organization will receive access to Proton’s business VPN, alongside Proton Pass Professional. This package strengthens both network security and password management practices across your organization.
The service is provided in partnership with Proton AG, a Switzerland-based provider focused on privacy and security. Proton’s VPN infrastructure enables secure, encrypted connections, while Proton Pass supports safe and efficient credential management.
The combined package is valued at €10.99 per user per month. Selected organizations will receive this service free of charge for one year.
Who can apply
This initiative is open to a wide range of organizations that contribute to the functioning and resilience of communities at the local or regional level. This includes nonprofits, public entities, cooperatives, and private organizations with a clear community-oriented role.
