What is the Virtual Routes Colloquium?

The Virtual Routes Colloquium is a platform for cybersecurity researchers and practitioners to showcase and receive feedback on their research projects and papers. The Colloquia are held monthly via Zoom, with each session lasting an hour.

  • Promotion of Research: The Colloquia aim to spotlight cutting-edge research and facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue.
  • Community Building: The Colloquia foster a trusted community among Europe’s cybersecurity professionals.
  • Support for Junior Scholars: Cybersecurity is still an evolving research field, so the Colloquia seek to support junior researchers who may not have robust local networks for guidance. Hence, submissions from junior scholars are especially encouraged.

The Colloquia are held monthly, with each session lasting an hour.

Participants can present their research to the community. Each presented paper will have a designated expert discussant. This discussant will provide comprehensive comments on the paper. Following this, a broader discussion involving all workshop participants will be held.

Both established and junior cybersecurity researchers and practitioners are welcome to present their research. We especially encourage submissions from junior scholars to support their growth in the field.
