US requests extradition of suspected Conti member from Ireland for deployment of ransomware

The respondent is accused of conspiracy charges related to the deployment of ransomware against a government entity and tro businesses in the Middle District of Tennessee, resulting in approximately $634000 being paid in ransom.
On February 20th 2025, the accused, Oleksi Oleksiyovych Lytvynenko, was committed to prison in Ireland to await extradition. Lytvynenko was in Ireland since he fled Ukraine in 2022,
